Please pray for the repose of the soul of Canon Timothy Brosnan, retired Parish Priest of St Gerard's, Bellshill, who died this morning in Killarney.
Canon Brosnan was ordained in 1957 and served as curate in St Mungo's Garthamlock, St Margaret's Airdrie, Sacred Heart Bellshill and St Aloysius' Chapelhall. He then served as Parish Priest of St Benedict's Easterhouse and St Gerard's Bellshill, where he served from 1984 until his retirement in 2011.
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
May the Lord who chose Timothy as his priest number him among his chosen in heaven.
