We offer our congratulations and prayers to Fr Harry O'Brien, Parish Priest of St Mary's & St Paul's Hamilton, who celebrates the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the Priesthood today, ordained on 20th March 1981.
We thank Fr Harry for his ministry in various parishes, his lengthy period as a hospital chaplain in the former Law Hospital and especially for the time he spent as director in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre in Newmains before moving to Hamilton in 2004.
On this special occasion we give thanks to God for Fr O'Brien's ministry in our Diocese over these past 40 years and ask the Lord to continue to bless and protect him each day. Ad multos annos!
