It is with regret that we advise you of the death of Canon Herbert Flack, a retired Priest of the Diocese of Motherwell.
Canon Flack had been living in Nazareth House in Belfast for some time before his death. Please keep him in your prayers.
Canon Flack's Requiem Mass will take place today, Wednesday 17th November at 12 noon in Good Shepherd Church in Holy Rosary Parish in Belfast. The Mass will be celebrated by Fr Gerard Chromy VG, who will be in attendance with Fr James Thomson from the diocese.

Canon Flack was ordained on 22nd June 1952 at All Hallows College in Ireland for the Diocese of Motherwell.
His diocesan appointments were:
Assistant Priest at
St Aloysius' Chapelhall (1952-1958);
St Bridget's, Baillieston (1958-1965);
St Cadoc's Halfway (1965-1970).
Parish Priest at
St Catherine's Harthill (1970-1972);
St Joseph's Stepps (1972-1998).
He retired in 1998.
Bishop Toal will remember Canon Flack in a particular way at the annual Diocesan Mass for Deceased Clergy to be celebrated in St Bernadette's Church in Motherwell on Monday 6th December at 7.00 pm.
