The Jesus Our Teacher Icon will be handed over to the Diocese of Motherwell on Wednesday 10th October at 2.00pm in St Bartholomew's Church, Coatbridge. The Icon will be in the Diocese until 20th November.
During this period, it will be on display in the Cathedral should schools wish to bring pupils along to view it. On each of the six weekends, the icon will be at a particular Church in each of the six deaneries at the undernoted dates.
Prayer materials including a holy hour and novena are available to accompany the Icon and it is hoped that parishioners from other parishes in the deanery would also have the opportunity to view the Icon.
