Some of you may recall Father Yury Zheharyn from Belarus. He has been with us in the diocese as a summer supply priest for many years and is highly regarded amongst his brother priests for whom he has supplied over these years.
We will all have heard about the troubles in Belarus following the recent disputed election and Fr Yury asks Bishop Toal and everyone in the diocese of Motherwell, to pray for peace, forgiveness and justice for Belarus at this difficult time.
Please remember Fr Yury and the country of Belarus in your prayers.
