It is with sadness and regret that we advise of the death this afternoon of Fr George Donaldson, a retired priest of the Diocese, in Summerlee House in Coatbridge.
Fr Hugh Kelly and members of Fr Donaldson's family were with him when he died.
His remains will be received into St Augustine's Church in Coatbridge at 6pm on Thursday 11th May and the funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday 12th May at 12 noon. The internment afterwards will be at a family plot in Old Monklands Cemetery.
